The PROSME project will continue and enhance Enterprise Europe Network services from July 1, 2025, until December 31, 2028, in the Romanian RO3 NUTS1 statistical region. It aims to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of SMEs in Europe, particularly within the RO3 region, by assisting them in innovating, growing, and scaling-up. The project will focus on facilitating internationalization, enhancing SME competitiveness, promoting sustainable and digital transformation, and strengthening SME resilience. The PROSME consortium leverages the strengths and experience of the 2008 to 2024 period and aligns with the EU's political priorities of digitalization, sustainability, and resilience. The project implementation period coincides with the EU's transformation towards a more sustainable, digital, and resilient economy. The PROSME project covers the RO3 NUTS 1 statistical region of Romania, including the NUTS 2 regions South-Muntenia (RO3.1) and Bucharest-Ilfov (RO3.2) and is proposed by a 12-partner consortium encompassing regional development agencies, business support organizations, academia and research, and businesses.
