PROTON CINEMA SLATE FUNDING 2022

ended

Proton Cinema is a creative film and theatre production company, established in 2003. Now we operate several companies in three independent departments: film production, production service and theatre. Our core activities are content development and the production of fresh, cutting-edge arthouse movies, TV series and documentaries for international distribution, encouraging the work and expression of young talents on contemporary topics. The company was founded through the collaboration of director Kornél Mundruczó and producer Viktória Petrányi, who were eager to gather many young talents with similar visions on art, life and movies. Apart from company directors the development team consists of our three producers; Eszter Gyárfás, researcher and producer Júlia Berkes and line producer Judit Sós, who is also responsible for our documentaries.
