Description | Information Department of Telecommunications has come up with Provision of 4G Mobile Services in Uncovered Villages of Arunachal Pradesh and 2 Districts of Assam with a ticket size of 1255.49 INR Crores. This project in Telecommunication & Telecom Services sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Not Applicable Economic/Social Impact of the Project Provision of 4G Mobile Services in 2374 Uncovered Villages of Arunachal Pradesh- 1683 and 2 Districts of Assam-691 by installing 1511 towers. Agreement has been signed on 29.10.2021 with M/s BHL for Arunachal Pradesh and on 1.11.2021 with M/s RJIL for Two Districts of Assam. After survey the scope has been revised for installing 561 towers in Arunachal Pradesh covering 1036 villages and 239 towers in Assam covering 322 villages. Till April, 2023, in Arunachal Pradesh 132 sites have been installed and commissioned covering 227 villages. In two Districts of Assam, 179 sites have been installed and commissioned covering 250 villages. |
