Description | The Boring Company's Prufrock tunnel boring machines operate continuously, excavating and installing tunnel liners simultaneously. These machines are remotely controlled from a single Operations Control Center in Bastrop, Texas, and are deployed in multiple locations including Las Vegas and Dubai. The Prufrock-2 machine completed a record 2.28-mile tunnel drive for the Vegas Loop in March 2026. The Dubai Loop is a pilot route of 6.4 kilometers with an estimated cost of approximately USD 154 million and a one-year build schedule. The Music City Loop in Nashville is under construction with Prufrock-4 slated for operation in the first half of 2027. |
