Description

Description	PT Supreme Energy and International Power-GDF SUEZ were planning the development of the 220MW Muara Laboh geothermal plant, South Lampung Regency, 60km South East of Padang, West Sumatera Province. The project was to consist of 2 units of 110MW. The developers received the concession following a tender in 2010. On March 2nd, 2012, a 30 year PPA was signed between Perusahan Listrik Negara (PLN) and the developers, which included a Guarantee Letter. Civil construction and exploration drilling started in March 2012. In September 2012, the first Exploration well drilling ML-A1 was conducted, a series of 4-6 drilling exploration wells. Exploration drilling is expected to last 6-9 months. The Environmental permit, location permit, water use permit and business license, as well electricity supply license were acquired. Commissioning was expected in 2016. Funding support is expected from Japan Bank for International Cooperation. http://www.supreme-energy.com/page.php?menu=15&content=21
