Description

Structuring of a public lighting (IP) project for the Municipality of Aracaju. The objective of the PPP is to modernize the 58,000 points of the city's IP park, adapting them to current technical standards. Expected benefits: Improving public safety and quality of life for an estimated population of 650,000 people; Modernization of the prominent lighting of municipal monuments; Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions; It is Increased investment and job creation. The structuring is being carried out by the consortium hired by IFC, formed by the consultancy Accenture and the office Madrona Adogados. The process is being financed by the Municipality (10%), the International Finance Corporation – IFC (45%) and the Fund to Support the Structuring and Development of Concession Projects and Public-Private Partnerships – FEP CAIXA (45%), in terms of Federal Law No. 13,529/2017. The specialized technical service contracted consists of the following activities: technical advice to be provided by Caixa to the Entity. specialized technical consultancy to carry out feasibility studies and develop the necessary documents for bidding on the Concession Contract. Concession Structuring services cover technical engineering, economic-financial, legal and socio-environmental aspects in the preparation of projects, reports, opinions, reports and information in the following stages: Preliminary Studies - Completed Technical, Economic and Environmental Feasibility Studies (EVTEA) –  Completed External Validation (Public Consultation and Control Bodies) – Completed Bidding and Contracting – Completed. Estimated CAPEX: R$83 million Estimated Opex: R$73 million
