Description | Structuring a public lighting project (IP) in the Municipality of Campinas (SP). The objective of the PPP is to modernize the almost 123,000 points in the city's IP park, adapting them to current technical standards. Expected benefits: Improving public safety and quality of life for almost 1.2 million inhabitants; Modernization of the prominent lighting of municipal monuments; Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions; It is Increased investment and job creation. The project is carried out in cooperation between FEP CAIXA and the International Financial Corporation – IFC, with the consortium formed by the consultancy RadarPPP and the office Moysés e Pires being hired. The process is being financed by the Municipality (10%), the International Financial Corporation – IFC (45%) and the Fund to Support the Structuring and Development of Concession Projects and Public-Private Partnerships – FEP CAIXA (45%), in terms of Federal Law No. 13,529/2017. The specialized technical service contracted consists of the following activities: technical advice to be provided by Caixa to the Entity. specialized technical consultancy to carry out feasibility studies and develop the necessary documents for bidding on the Concession Contract. Concession Structuring services cover technical engineering, economic-financial, legal and socio-environmental aspects in the preparation of projects, reports, opinions, reports and information in the following stages: Preliminary Studies - COMPLETED Technical, Economic and Environmental Feasibility Studies (EVTEA) – COMPLETED External Validation (Public Consultation and Control Bodies): First public consultation started on 02/07/2020 and public hearing held on 09/15/2020. Second public consultation started on 03/30/21. Documents were made available at: http://www.campinas.sp.gov.br/ppp-iluminacao.php Bidding and Contracting.
