The program would have the following action areas: support the implementation of strategies which would allow formal planning mechanisms for public investment, and follow-up and evaluation of public sector budget execution; (ii) support institutional reform to improve public finance information, simplify processes and reorganize the functional competencies at the Ministry of Finance; (iii) support high quality management training to enable human resources to identify new and efficient practices to lead changes in public resource management; y (iv) support the development and implementation of information and technical requirements requested by the economic cabinet for improved performance. Likewise, there would be support for administrative reforms in the institutions responsible for revenue collection, and for analysis of potential tax policy reform, which could be part of a fiscal pact for the country.
