The objectives of the proposed TC are: (a) To develop a definitive technical and political solution with respect to the implementation of a higher capacity public transportation facility in San José; (b) To elaborate this solution in a manner consistent with locally funded programs to improve existing bus services, forming an integrated strategy for public transport improvement; and (c) To catalyze the institutional coordination and public support necessary to successfully implement this integrated strategy.
