Public Utilities Reform Program

This program will support the implementation of policy reforms to allow the public services to meet their basic objectives of equity, efficiency, quality and sustainability. These reforms will also promote an improvement in the investments climate for public services. Disbursements will be made on the basis of compliance with conditions proposed under the following five components: (i) compliance with the policy letter y macro-economic framework, (ii) effectiveness of the agencies responsible for regulation, supervision, control, policy formulation and planning, (iii) Corporate Governance, (iv) efficiency and financial sustainability and (v) decentralized public services.
