Description | The construction of the 3.3 km length bridge ended in 1994. The consortium share's is distributed as follows: Tribasa holds 50% and ICA holds 50%. Financial closure for the project was initially achieved as follows: 25% in equity and 75% in debt from Atlantico. This bridge was also included in the "bail out" program implemented by the Mexican government in the end of 1997: the government agreed to pay the remaining of the debt the sponsors had related to the project, and the bridge will be turned back to government management by 1999. |
