Puerto Colón Marina & Golf Villages - Construction of canal/marina/island

Puerto Colon is designed to be a world class marina and golf resort. Is located on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, approximately 40km west of Puerto Plata. The project offers an extraordinary view of the Caribbean Sea and 200 berths for boats from 8-40 meters in a very well protected channel harbor. In addition, it will include a drinking water treatment plant through a reverse osmosis system, an electric power generation plant, and a wastewater treatment plant. Likewise, the project concept includes: -The exclusive Sandy Cay Island with 22 lots, each around 2,500m2. -The Boatyard with Diving- / Charter sailing base and the sailor bar/restaurant. -The Seafarer Club for long-time sailors. -The PC Yacht-Club and Sailing Center with 5 restaurants on the beach. -On the 8m tall cliff terrace with spectacular view over the island, the port’s southern boundary, is located the main zone with 86 residential villas, 118 condominiums and the 158 room Boutique Hotel. -The “PLAZA DE LAS CULTURAS”, the village square with 2 restaurants, market place, shopping boulevard, bank, health-care and pharmacy, Fitness with Spa and relaxing pool. Shops, Taino-museum. Business, management and administration center. -The tennis club and school “ROGER”. -Located above the upper cliff terrace (20m tall) is the Golf and Country Club “LAS PAREDES” with 60 Golf Villas. – -The Golf Village with 150 Town houses/condominium surrounds the Amphitheatre with the academy of fine arts for students in architecture, civil engineering, handcraft, painting and music. Including our international Sailing-Academy. -The FOUNDATION PUERTO COLON with 4 teaching sections: A) Local primary and baccalaureate The first phase of the project consists in the construction of canal/marina and all buildings.
