Pullen Park to Bain Water Project

A major water infrastructure project in Raleigh involving the installation of a 36-inch-diameter iron water pipe running from a booster station at Pullen Park to the original Bain water treatment plant near Interstate 40. The project aims to improve system reliability and operational flexibility for the western portions of Raleigh's water service area. Construction requires clearing a corridor through Dorothea Dix Park, including removal of smaller trees now and nine larger mature trees when construction begins next year.
