Information Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited has come up with Pune Metro Rail Project [Phase - I]- 31 Kilometres with a ticket size of 13656.22 INR Crores. This project in Metro sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Commercial operation of Priority Sections I [7 km] & II from PCMC to Phugewadi & Vanaz to Garware [5 Km] started on 06.03.2022 after inauguration by Hon. Prime Minister of India. Commercial operation of Phugewadi to Civil Court [6.91 Km], Garware to Civil Court [2.38 Km] and Civil Court to Ruby Hall Clinic [2.37 Km] started on 01.08.2023 after inauguration by Hon. Prime Minister of India. CMRS inspection of Ruby Hall to Ramwadi stretch [6km] was completed on 22.01.2024. UG tunnelling has completed with 8 nos. of breakthroughs. Work of remaining 3 Underground Metro station is in progress. Two Depots, one at Vanaz and other at Range Hills are commissioned. 99.29pc of Land required has been acquired. Major Materials pertaining to Telecom, Signaling, Traction & Power Supply have already been received on site and installed on 26 stations. Rolling Stock- Total 27 Trainsets have been received till Jan 2024, out of which 17 are inducted in revenue service in Reach 01+ Reach 04A and Reach 03+ Reach 03A of corridor 1 & corridor 2. Remaining trains are under various stages of testing and commissioning at Depot. The supply of total 34 Trainsets for PMRP likely to be completed by March 2024 Physical and Financial Progress as on 31.01.2024: Physical Progress - 99.20pc Financial Progress - 84.94pc with respect to Revised Project Cost of Rs. 13,656.22 Cr.
