Description
Description | The Maharashtra government has announced an enhanced rehabilitation and compensation package for landowners affected by the proposed Purandar Airport project. The package includes full transferable development rights (TDR) benefits under the planned Aerocity, enhanced land compensation, prioritisation of local employment, and establishment of a dedicated skill development centre for local youth. Compensation will be based on negotiations with farmers and will exceed benefits offered in earlier infrastructure projects. The project will also offer compensation along with alternative land and take family structures into account for rehabilitation measures. |
