Description	Objective: purchase and installation of variable frequency drive capable control units and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programming associated with the variable frequency drive (VFD) installation. This will allow for more efficient communication between equipment which will allow for a better flow based on demand. In turn it will be easier on the pumps, require less maintenance and extend their life. Scope: to purchase and install VFD units compatible to the above mentioned high lift pumps and wire the and program the units to the plant’s existing PLC. Output: reduction in electricity consumption, enhanced reliability of the high lift system, stabilization of the output pressure to the town.
