Description | The project consists of the purchase of two (2) new conventional diesel buses and associated technology components in order to enhance regional public transit service. The main objective is to increase the service frequency from 60 to 30 minutes and to provide improved inter-municipal transit connections to each of the 12 local municipalities in Niagara Region. Each of the new buses will include cameras, computer automated dispatch vehicle locators, fare payment technology and radios. |
