"The aim of the project is to increase the efficiency and safety of operational tasks performed by PCBI officers, as well as to improve the quality of cooperation with law enforcement authorities and services of neighbouring countries. The project is focused at purchase of three mobile radio tracking platforms and trainings of staff operating these devices. In order to increase the effectiveness and security of operational tasks as highlighted in the programme as the programme encourages the reinforcement of investigative capability, and also to allow for smooth cooperation with national units and services of neighboring countries, the Central Investigation Bureau of Police wants to implement the multidimensional “OMOS” (Operational Modular Operating System), consisting of three elements closely cooperating and complementing each other. The versatility of this system provides possibility for each of its individual components to work autonomously, without additional support of other units, if there is no such need or during the activities carried out. So this application aims to implement the first element of the System, which will be ""MRTS"", i.e. the Mobile Radiation Targeting System, with a set of modern and state-of-the-art sets of transmitters and receivers installed in 3 vehicles. Their purpose is to indicate the direction and intensity of the transmitted radio signal of the tracked object (vehicles, containers, railway wagons, persons, objects and other objects of interest), to acquire the position of all vehicles logged into the network that track an object, to transmit information regarding the object from other vehicles by the vehicle closest to the tracked transmitter, the possibility of reading the geographical coordinates of the indicated object with the equipment for dynamic determination of the distance between the tracking car and the object, as well as reading the information in the mobile center of coordination and observation.
