Description | This project is for the purchase of four 28- to 32-foot diesel urban minibuses for 2018-2019. These minibuses will better serve certain areas that do not need a 40-foot vehicle and that are not ideal for the operation of hybrid vehicles (e.g. routes with few stops/starts or high service speeds). Also, these diesel minibuses are not only accessible to customers with reduced mobility, but their fuel consumption and GHG emissions are similar to those of a 40-foot hybrid bus but at half the cost. |
