Description | The project includes the purchase of approximately 120 mobile validators needed to validate and reload transit tickets for the Société de transport de Sherbrooke’s (STS) paratransit services. These validators will make it possible to deploy the smart card ticketing system (Multi) in paratransit vehicles and certain Taxi Sherbrooke vehicles that complement the STS service offer. The project will improve the quality of the public transit infrastructure through improvements to the intelligent transportation systems that will notably provide a simplified experience for paratransit users, better management of transit tickets and better data collection in addition to reduce the collection time and simplify the billing. |
