Description

Description

Purchase one new accessible bus to improve service reliability and expand services, to provide additional hours/locations of service to meet ridership demand. The accessible bus currently used to provide service to local Kapuskasing residents is in a state of disrepair. Furthermore, the current hours of operation do not meet ridership demand therefore an additional 5 hours of service per week would be required to improve service reliability. The expansion bus as well as the rehabilitation of the current bus is required to expand services, including seniors with mobility issues. Improved environment as a result in lower emissions with the purchase of a more efficient vehicle.
