Description
Description | THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. This is a Notice of Intent to award, in accordance with 505 DM 2, 2.14 B (4), a Cooperative Agreement between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) and Erie County to purchase 10.88 acres at Seneca Bluffs along the Buffalo River, City of Buffalo, Erie County, New York. These activities are being carried out pursuant to the â¿¿2016 Final Restoration Plan and Environmental Assessment Addendum for the Love Canal, 102nd Street and Forest Glen Mobile Home Subdivision Superfund Sites.â¿ This Restoration Plan Addendum was prepared by the natural resource trustees: the U.S. Department of Interior, as represented by the Service, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. In developing the Restoration Plan Addendum in 2015/2016, the Trustees sought restoration projects from a number of agencies and non-governmental organizations in the vicinity of the three superfund sites identified above. The Seneca Bluffs property acquisition by Erie County was selected as one of three projects in the preferred alternative. This Cooperative Agreement will enable Erie County to acquire the Seneca Bluffs property in accordance with the Restoration Plan Addendum. |
