Information Department of water resources-MH - II has come up with Purna Barrage-2 [Ner Dhamana] Medium Irrigation Project with a ticket size of 888.43 INR Crores. This project in Irrigation sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Not Applicable Economic/Social Impact of the Project Construction of barrage Bridge is completed and water is stored in October 2019. 1.Alternative to the original planning, pier mounted submersible pump was considered, but discarded due to infeasibility. Now construction of circular pump house on both bank of river is under consideration. In this connection, meeting with Hon.Executive Director, Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation, Nagpur was conducted on 08/09/2022. Now, preliminary design and drawings submitted by private design consultant , accordingly preliminary estimate is prepared , as per GR dated 23/06/2020 proposal submitted to Government for Approval to cost implications caused due to Change in design . Meanwhile preliminary design and drawings of circular pumphouse on both sides are submitted to CDO, Nashik for vetting .Further action for tender of combined work of pumphouse on both sides and PDN will be taken up after the approval from competent authority. ?. Construction of circular pump house on both bank of the river is finalized and getting approval to general layout for the same is in proceedings. It may likely to be completed by June -2025.
