PWD Redevelopment Project in Delhi under PPP Model

The Public Works Department (PWD) in Delhi has selected seven residential land parcels for redevelopment and commercialization under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. The selected sites include Vikas Bhawan-1 (ITO), Timarpur, Gulabi Bagh, Kalyanvas, Probyn Road, Sindhora Khurd, Sindhora Kalan, and Bahapur. The project aims to meet future housing needs, optimize land use, and replace old government quarters with modern and sustainable infrastructure. The redevelopment will include construction of private offices, retail spaces, and possibly selling leftover land parcels to private developers. The National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) has been involved in similar projects and will process the PPP proposal for this project.
