Description	The Secondary Education Improvement Project will support the Government's initiatives to improve the quality, efficiency and coverage of secondary education, and to increase the Ministry of Education's (MEC's) institutional capacity for information-based decision-making. The project consists of the following five components: 1) institutional strengthening; 2) provision of textbooks, educational materials and curricular support; 3) training for teachers and school managers; 4) infrastructure upgrading and expansion; and 5) pilot proposal for school-based innovation projects.
