The DE MAR A MAR project is carried out by 14 partners working in the contemporary circus field of Spain, France and Andorra crossborder environment. This most dynamic and creative sector has to take up the challenge for the professional inclusion of future talents in a crisis context where the cultural sector has to operate a major metamorphosis. Thus, over 40 operators of this environment are going to cooperate to enhance better career-guidance, training and supporting of circus artists and especially of emerging artists, by establishing solidarity links with the entire profession: consolidated or renowned artistic teams, programmers from the crossborder environment. This partnership aims to take up this challenge for innovative actions: - Solidarity mentoring between established teams and emerging artists. - A mutual fund to promote research and creation. - A dissemination network to support artists in their first steps and raising programmers' awareness to this support. - An innovative selection and follow-up system designed as a space dedicated to knowledge and career-guidance exchanges for young artists and professionals of the sector. - Training actions in order to prepare young artists to professional inclusion. This project is structured with an international dimension, which will give the artists opportunities beyond the Pyrenees and the borders of their own country. We are aiming at 600 mobilities and 80 crossborder pathways to professional inclusion.
