Description | Qantas and Airbus have developed the A350-1000ULR aircraft designed for record-breaking non-stop flights from Sydney to London and New York. The aircraft features an additional 20,000 litre rear centre fuel tank and enhanced systems to enable up to 22 hours of non-stop flight. The cabin is designed for passenger comfort and wellbeing, with a 238-seat configuration and a purpose-built Wellbeing Zone. The first of 12 aircraft is scheduled for delivery in late 2026, with commercial services starting in the first half of 2027. |
