Field Operations was commissioned to develop the master plan for a vibrant new city on 4,500 acres of reclaimed land. The city is designed to be dense, compact, mixed-use, sustainable, and centered around water. It features five distinct development sub-districts defined by "water fingers" that function as innovative water quality infrastructures and parkland. The urban fabric creates interconnected urban neighborhoods with a hyper-dense, ecologically sensitive urban territory including an iconic waterfront, diverse building stock, cultural and recreational features, and unique public open spaces. A water finger prototype is currently under construction.
