Description
Description | The Qingyang Peoples Hospital No. 3 project is located in the city of Qingyang, Gansu Province. Within the hospital landscape of Qingyang, the hospital is particularly focused on mother and child care. It strives to expand its diagnostic and treatment options in line with demand and to graduate to a Class 3A reference center for mother and child health in the catchment area. To implement this project, a new hospital was planned some distance from the current location, which has been under construction since 2016. It is a four- to five-story multi-part building complex with an attached 15-story ward building, including a building for supply technology. Construction work is scheduled to be completed by mid-2018. The new hospital is scheduled to open and the move is scheduled to take place in the third quarter of 2018. The total investment costs amount to around 461 million RMB (around 66 million EUR), of which 44% (around 29 million EUR) are for construction work on the new building. The remaining 56% of the investment costs are largely focused on hospital equipment. With the exception of interior work for rooms with increased sterility requirements, the construction work will be financed entirely from the hospital's own resources or by the provincial government. The planned subsidized loan will be used to finance medical equipment (68%) - including magnetic resonance imaging and X-ray machines -, non-medical equipment (10%) - including elevators, air conditioning, wastewater treatment plant -, IT hardware and software (9%) and the interior work for rooms with increased sterility requirements such as operating rooms, intensive care units and laboratories (13%). |
