Description | The 50 year BOT project for wastewater treatment plant in Qinzhou Economic Development Zone reached financial closure in April 2010, as Sembcorp Utilities Pte., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of SembCorp Industries, Ltd. and sponsor of the project began the construction for the plant. The project was awarded to a joint venture between Sembcorp(80%) and the Guangxi Qinzhou Linhai Industrial Investment Company(20%). Sembcorp would invest US$9.4 million for this wastewater treatment plant, with an initial capacity of 15,000 cubic meters per day, providing wastewater treatment and reclaiming water to customers in the Qinzhou Economic Development Zone with coverage of roughly 67 square kilometers. |
