Description

Description

Qivalis, a financial technology joint venture headquartered in Amsterdam, has expanded its institutional alliance by onboarding twenty-five additional commercial lenders from fifteen nations, bringing the total to thirty-seven European banking partners. The project aims to introduce an enterprise-grade, euro-denominated digital settlement asset designed to challenge the dominance of dollar-centric stablecoins in the programmatic economy. The token architecture will enable instantaneous atomic settlement for cross-border corporate banking payments and will be backed one-to-one with physical euro reserves and sovereign cash equivalents. The consortium is pursuing electronic money institution authorization from De Nederlandsche Bank to launch the network in the second half of 2026 under full compliance with the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets framework.
