Description | The QTS Fayetteville campus, also known as Project Excalibur, is a large data center development in Fayette County, Georgia. It currently comprises 13 buildings totaling approximately 6.2 million square feet, with plans for up to 16 buildings at full buildout. The project began construction in 2023 and is expected to be completed in three to five years. The developer, Quality Technology Services (QTS), has said it expects to invest up to $1 billion in the project. The campus was found to have consumed roughly 29 million gallons of water through two unauthorized water connections over 9 to 15 months during construction activities. Despite retroactive charges, the county did not fine the company. |
