The main goal of the project is to provide state of the art solution for cybersecurity and to fulfil all the requirements governed by the very nature of stored data needed by the specialized hospital focused on cancer patients and their well-being and protection from incidents related to securing datasets this institution stores. Primarily, we must consider these data untouchable and therefore, make the security measures related to the data our top priority. The datasets are - since we are working within the field of delivering healthcare services & research results that are being provided by the National Cancer Institute – our top priority. Any kind of failures in the process continuity, availability and equipment are failures considered to be literally unthinkable. We deem it necessary to emphasize that the protection of the sensitive data from the ground up is crucial from several aspects: whether it comes to the security, procedural or even reputational aspects. The project target is to ensure: • Assuring resistance to HW failures, thereby increasing the availability of critical infrastructure • Ability of fast recovery RPO/RTO in case of cybersecurity incident and backup plans • Creating a high-availability storage that meets the security requirements • Securing the data that is stored in a high-availability repository (data rest encryption) • Creating audit logs, datapoints from endpoints and IS • Centralizing the collection of forensic/audit records Our project seeks to support the operational objectives of an implementation of advanced cybersecurity equipment, tools and mainly - whole data infrastructure, especially deployment of effective, modern, and top of the line cybersecurity solutions. Increased cybersecurity compliance through governance tools customized for healthcare will also allow hospital to plan the alignment with the European regulatory framework, maximizing it’s available investment capability.
