Description | The grant will establish and operationalize quality assurance (QA) measures for off-grid energy solutions in target countries, including off-grid solar lighting products and energy-efficient appliances. The QA will cover test methods and quality standards, laboratory capacity for product testing and certification, the creation and implementation of a due-diligence framework for commercial product certification, and the provision of technical assistance. By improving market confidence and enabling institutions and programs to adopt and implement QA requirements, the activity will help facilitate the uptake of quality off-grid energy solutions in target countries. |
