Description | The $27.5 million Quantico Station Improvements Project was completed in 2025 and includes a new center platform and extended east platform, retaining walls, alignment shifts, upgrades at Potomac Avenue, elevator towers, and pedestrian bridges. It was part of a larger third-track expansion project between Arkendale and North Possum Point. STV served as engineer-of-record and provided design and engineering services, including designing a 714-foot-long retaining wall to minimize impacts to Marine Corps Base Quantico and preserve historic structures. |
