The port is located at the mouth of the Quequen River, Quequen on the East shore and Necochea on the West shore. On the Quequen shore, there are two elevator facilities, ACA/FACA Pier No. 2/3 and Terminal Quequen S.A. Pier No. 4/5/6. The latter is operated by a private consortium of several grainhouses including local Grain Stock exchange (Bolsa de Cereales de Buenos Aires, Centro de Acopiadores de Cereales, Zona Puerto Quequen, Centro de Corridores y Comisionistas de Cereales de Bs. As., Confederacion Intercooperativa Agropecuaria Coop. Lda, Confederaciones Rurales Argentinas, Sociedad Rural Argentina, Asociacion de Cooperativas Argentinas Coop. Ltda. (ACA), Bunge y Born Comercial SA, S.A. Genaro Garcfa, La Necochea Quequen S.A., La Plata Cereal Co., SACIAFeI, Mercado a Termino de Bs. As., Nidera Argentina S.A., Productos Sudamericanos S.A., and Tradigrain S.A.). The concession fee is US$ 3.50/ton on board and additional rent for existing port facilities. None None
