Quest is an independent, democratic and participatory network of European organisations, with the objective of connecting educational changemakers to bring Quality Education for Sustainable Social Transformation in Europe. QUEST reunites in its network pioneers of innovative education, in order to make their experience accessible to all Europe and beyond and to serve as a multiplier of best practices, actions and research. Together with its members, QUEST is conducting several research activities, cooperation projects, and it is working to have an impact on EU policies. Activities include conferences, training, workshops, research publications, articles and position papers. As a young network, QUEST's membership has mostly small/medium grassroots organisations. With the Operating Grant, it has grown significantly, expanding from 18 to 59 EU members (a 228% increase) and from 9 to 20 EU countries (a 122% increase). Globally, QUEST now represents 72 members in 27 countries, quadrupling its membership and tripling its country count since the FPA application 2 years ago. QUEST’s strategy for 2023-2026 is “QUEST BASE” (Building Action for Shared Educational Evolution in Europe), aims to fund and empower the organisation as a bridge between the EU and its members to address pressing education and lifelong learning challenges for true transformation and a sustainable, inclusive society. The first year laid the foundation, while the second year focused on the key priorities in our three work areas while substantially improving our membership processes. In year 3, QUEST will focus on streamlining the work methodologies and optimising the systems put in place in the first two years in order to increase the efficiency and impact in QUEST’s priorities: democratic, inclusive and sustainable education, while deepening the connection, engagement and cooperation potentials amongst the network.
