Description

Description

Qwest TV is a French video streaming service co-founded by the legendary music producer Quincy Jones. Started in 2018 with a solely jazz catalogue, we have now created bridges with electronic, pop/rock and classical music comprising 1,600+ concert videos and documentaries of which 70% are European audiovisual works. We are delivering our curated catalog through 3 services: • A SVOD platform, www.qwest.tv, available worldwide through all the major players. • 3 FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channels: Qwest TV Jazz, Qwest TV Mix and Qwest TV Classical - already available in 150M+ households in 60+ countries including the 26 EEC countries with over 10M unique monthly viewers. • An education digital resources platform where the same catalogue is made available to 250+ educational institutions in 30+ countries through our offer Qwest TV EDU. In the Qwest TV SHIFT project, we plan to scale-up the viewership of our 3 FAST channels by increasing partnerships with operators. We also aim to grow the Qwest TV EDU reach and offering, to touch a broader audience of students and develop new partnerships with institutions. We plan to highlight European audiovisual works through curated playlists by our team of experts celebrating diversity and foster a better understanding of consumer behavior through sharing best practices with other industry players. Our activities will target the USA market for its maturity in the VOD and EDU sectors.
