R-Hauz Six-Storey Mass Timber Townhouse

pilot completion

R-Hauz is completing a pilot version of a six-storey mass timber townhouse in Toronto, designed as a replicable product with multiple units for residential and commercial use. The design includes modular prefabricated bathrooms, integrated plumbing and HVAC, a greywater recycling system, green roof, permeable paving, and stormwater management features. The building meets Toronto's guidelines for redevelopment of east-west avenues, with a wood circulation core approved as an alternative to concrete, allowing for quicker and more economical construction.
