Description
Description | RABBIT ACADEMY is a fast-paced, funny, modern 2D-animated series with international appeal and strong thematic values for a core target group of 6 to 9 year-olds. The series is a European co-production between 2 Minutes (F), Formart Dekor (HU), SERU Animation (D), Akkord Film (D), and in co-production with ARD (SWR, NDR, KiKA), ORF, and MTVA with high creative and artistic value and wide cross-border exploitation potential. With fun- and action-packed stories, the series centers on a cultural clash between three street-smart, individualistic city rabbits and the pupils of a strict and traditional - yet magical! - boarding school, hidden deep in the forest. The series shows that real magic comes from appreciating each other’s differences. Intercultural dialogue and social inclusion are thus built into the DNA of the series and will be fostered by an international, diverse team of writers. By involving a French director, a Hungarian composer, a German art director and creative teams in France, Hungary and Germany, artistic and cultural cooperation in Europe will be enhanced. The project encompasses the production of 52 episodes of 11min high-quality animation, from pre-production through production, post-production and delivery as well as distribution and marketing activities. It will benefit the co-producing companies with at least 130 persons, employees and freelancers. Its production will be done in an environmentally sustainable way and in a diverse and inclusive environment with ample opportunities for new talent. International distributor Global Screen positions the series as high quality programming aimed at wide international distribution and promoted to a worldwide children’s audience. The project offers a strong cooperation that will stimulate mobility and innovation in its creation, resulting in a meaningful knowledge transfer across countries with different audiovisual capacities and strengthening the long-term position of the Hungarian producer. |
