The Radha Nagar subway project is constructed across the railway tracks near Chromepet railway station in Chennai. The project involves creating a subway to replace the level crossing gate no: 27, providing access facilities for vehicles reaching GST Road, and easing traffic congestion. The Southern Railway agreed to part with a portion of the land near the platform to facilitate the project. The subway runs parallel to Rajendra Prasad Road of Hasthinapuram and links residents across several streets in Chromepet. The project has faced delays due to land acquisition but is now set to be completed soon with ongoing construction activities such as sump room construction and laying of BT layer on approach roads.
