Radiant Industries, a California-based company, is proposing to build a factory in Natrona County, Wyoming, to produce portable nuclear microreactors called Kaleidos. The factory would manage the entire lifecycle of the reactors, including assembly, fueling, on-site testing, and temporary storage of used fuel cores in dry casks. The project aims to create high-paying jobs and diversify Wyoming's economy, with partnerships involving the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Air Force, and Uranium Energy Corp.
