Description

Description

“Radical green - Increasing citizen’s participation in the green transition through art performances and cultural initiatives” brings 6 municipalities or organisations in behalf of and their communities together to enhance young citizens'democratic engagement and foster a circular, resilient society through an innovative artistic and cultural approach, contributing to a greener and more sustainable Europe. The project will involve 18-30 aged youngsters (citizens and residents) into a climate action community, involving cultural experts, artists and designers invited to develop an artistic strategy for greener and sustainable solutions at local and EU level. The project foresees 6 in-presence transnational events in 5 partner countries (IT; AL; BE;FR; MT), each one tackling a key point of the NEB Investment Guidelines (2024), in particular referred to the 2.2.4 Municipalities and authorities’ chapter, where it is presented the 6 priorities of the Investment strategy. 3 events (MT;IT;BE) will involve partners’ representatives and a delegation of the groups of young people from the partner municipalities, who will discuss and work together to develop shared solutions through innovative and creative solutions. Local activities will then be led by the young people’s groups with schools and associations, to transfer the results and follow up on the debate at local level. The Radical Green expected results will be: > the creation of a Climate Action Community composed of youngsters, artists, teachers, municipalities and youth organisations from different EU countries > the design and implementation of an European Common Action for a collective and concrete demonstration of how to promote green sustainability > the elaboration of the Radical Green Pact to share with EU institutions and municipalities of all around Europe for enhancing the role of youngsters in the green transition. The total direct beneficiaries will be 800, while 100.000 people will be reached around
