Description | The Radio Club Jetty project near Mumbai's Gateway of India aims to provide improved facilities for passengers using the busy coastal route. The project includes a terminal, parking, VIP area, amphitheatre (to be used only as a waiting area), and a café serving only water and packaged food items. Existing nearby jetties will be phased out after the new jetty becomes operational, following Indian Navy directions. The Maharashtra Maritime Board is responsible for ensuring no environmental problems arise, as the project does not include a sewage treatment plant. |
