Description	The proposed project consists of equity and debt investments of up to EUR 200 million to support Raiffeisen International Bank Holding AG (Raiffeisen International), a holding company fully-owned by Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG (RZB). Raiffeisen International currently holds controlling stakes in 14 banks and several other finance companies in Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe, namely in Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine. The purchase of a fifteenth network bank (Savings Bank of Albania) has recently been announced. Total aggregate assets of the network banks amount to approximately EUR 19 billion as of December 31, 2003, with aggregated equity of close to EUR 1 billion (not including the Savings Bank of Albania).
