Description | Rail Pedestrian Gating: The gating of rail pedestrian crossings at Homai North and South,Glenn Innes South, Mays Rd, Church St, O'Rourke Rd, Maurice Rd, and Sherrybrooke Pl in order to improve overall public user safety. Three additional sites added to scope - Victoria St, Alfred St and Galway St. Maglocks: The planning and implementation of ducting and layout changes if required to supply power to 3 x existing emergency gates at Baldwin Ave, Kingdon Ave, and Avondale Station. CCTV Cameras: Installation of CCTV coverage at level crossing sites to record incidents in order to understand how safety can be improved. Stage 1 includes the installation of CCTV at a total of 23 sites with 5 no. sites selected to be progressed this financial year (Glenview Rd, St George's Rd and 3 additional sites Portage Rd, St Judes and Chamlers St) |
