Description

The Raipur-Visakhapatnam Expressway is a six-lane expressway, part of the Bharatmala scheme, aimed at reducing travel time and improving market access for farmers and traders. It is an economic corridor project executed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) that will boost freight transport efficiency and enhance exports. The expressway starts from Raipur in Chhattisgarh, passes through Nabarangpur and Koraput districts, and ends at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, reducing the distance from 590 km to 464 km and cutting travel time from 14 hours to 6 hours.
