Description | Rajamandala Hydro Power Plant reached financial closure in June 2014 when the joint MLA and financial adviser Mizuho Bank signed a US$110m loan for the financing of the project. This $110.67 million BOT greenfield project involved the development of the 47MW run-of-river hydroelectric power plant located in Rajamandala Village, Cianjur Regency, West Java Province of Indonesia. The plant was scheduled to start operations in May 2017. Sponsors are Kansai Electric Power and PT Indonesia Power. The electricity produced will be sold to PT PLN for 30 years. Mizuho is financial adviser. Financing comprised a US$66.4m term loan and a US$44.2m term loan. Mizuho is sole MLA and facility agent. JBIC is providing the US$66m financing. Loan agreement was signed on 24 June 2014 The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) signed on June 24 a loan agreement, in project financing*1, totaling up to USD66 million (JBIC portion) with PT. Rajamandala Electric Power (REP), SPV by the Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. , for financing the Rajamandala Hydro Power Plant Project.
