Description | Information Irrigation and CAD-TG has come up with Rajiv Bhima Lift Irrigation Scheme with a ticket size of 2509.66 INR Crores. This project in Irrigation sub-sector involves The current status of the project is - and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Rajiv Bhima Lift Irrigation Scheme envisages lifting of water from the river Krishna at two locations in two stages each to provide irrigation facilities to an area of 82,153 Ha in Mahaboobnagar, Wanaparthy & Nagarkurnool districts of Telangana. The project was accorded investment clearance for Rs. 1969.00 Crore by Planning Commission vide No. 2[34]/1/2004-WR, dated 11.05.2011. The project was included under AIBP during FY 2007-08 and it is being monitored by M & A Dte, CWC, Hyderabad. The latest revised estimated cost of the project is Rs. 2509.665 crore which was accorded Administrative Approval by Govt. of Telangana vide G.O.Ms. No. 40 I&CAD [Projects-II] dated 14.07.2017 and also approved by CWC [FTPC] |
