Description | The Ramchandra Bridge is a vehicular bridge and elevated road planned by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) as part of the Mumbai Coastal Road project. It will connect Mindspace in Malad West to Malad-Marve Road, providing an alternative route to the congested New Link Road and linking to the upcoming Versova-Bhayandar Coastal Road interchange. The bridge is designed as a stainless steel girder on stilts to minimize impact on mangroves, with necessary environmental clearances obtained except for the Bombay High Court's nod. Construction is expected to start in October 2025, with completion likely by 2028. |
